HELLO!
I’m Juliana, though many know me as Ju Orbita (the name behind my creative studio, Órbita Criativa). I’m a full-time Brazilian freelance illustrator, as well as an architect and graphic designer. Since childhood, illustration has been a magical thread in my life, and over time it grew into both my profession and my way of telling stories. Today, I devote myself to bringing enchanting narratives and imaginative worlds to life.
My creations are gateways to universes where characters and settings gradually reveal themselves, each with a life of its own. Nature, animals, and everyday life are constant companions on this journey, as I experiment with different media, from watercolor to digital, to unite the real with the fantastic and bring smiles to the viewer's faces.
And when I’m not drawing, you can find me baking cookies, strumming an old cranky guitar, photographing leaves, birds, and landscapes, hunting for mysterious antiques, or embarking on small imaginary expeditions.
For me, drawing means creating worlds and I’m excited to share this creative journey with you!

My Passions:
I fall in love with historic shop windows, captivating characters (real and imaginary), and everything that is fleeting. I love to illustrate maps and hand-drawn lettering, dive into mythologies and folklore, explore nature in both its real and fantastic forms, bring animals and creatures to life, play with colorful insects, and marvel at architecture and historic cities.
